Radiation

Though all beings on Earth have always been exposed to some level of background radiation, medical use of radiation is just a bit more than a century old and nuclear testing and nuclear disasters are even more recent. However, we have all been exposed, some more than others. Both electromagnetic radiation and ionizing radiation are very harmful and some protection is warranted. For more information, visit:

Yarrow Extract

Yarrow Extract, 2 oz.

Achillea millefolium is an herb much prized by the 12th century German mystic and herbalist, St. Hildegard of Bingen. She used it as both a wine and tea to prevent metastasis. Many modern German doctors are following her guidance and using it both as a preventative as well as protective measure for patients undergoing surgery and radiation. No research seems available to establish or refute the efficacy of these measures, but extremely high concentrations are being investigated for antineoplastic effects. This said, yarrow is well respected for its antiseptic and wound healing properties.
