To make an insect repellent spray for a four ounce bottle, use the following proportions:
2 ounces of boiled or distilled water
1.5 ounces of vodka
75 drops of essential oil (about 3.5 ml)
Slowly add the oil to the other liquids, close the bottle tightly and shake.
