Amla Extract made from wildcrafted Indian gooseberries.

Amla Extract, 2 oz.

Amla is a tropical gooseberry and one of the most important herbs in Ayurvedic medicine. It is the main ingredient in many formulas including the two best-selling formulations in history: the rejuvenative jam Chyawanprash and the cleansing formula Triphala. Amla is a superb antioxidant. It is also radioprotective, antitumoral, and analgesic. It is cardioprotective, hepatoprotective, and immune enhancing. Our amalaki is extracted from wildcrafted plants.

Amla is very sour but it contains all but the salty taste. It is rich in a form of vitamin C that is not destroyed by cooking. Perhaps of all the Ayurvedic herbs, it has the best reputation for keeping us healthy and vibrant. Though it supports all the tissues, it is often given special attention for its benefit to the muscles and flexibility. It supports the liver and vision as well as the uterus. It is also considered a support for the memory and neurofunctioning in general.

Alcohol: 24-26%
